Hi all,

I really need your help. Most of my urls at www.traffictote.com are paused at 1 and I am not able to unpause them. The same surf page appears again and again though there are several urls i manually unpause and allocated credits. I am really lost.
What can i do?

Thanks,

Danny

Hi Danny,

You probably have the "Timer" enabled to disable this feature in the manager :

Configuration > Traffic Exchange > Timer Url Configuration

This is probably due to the problem all new exchanges have. No urls are pausing all the rotation rules :

Members have hits (or assigned if allocation is enabled)
Member is active & verified
Member is not banned
Urls are unpaused and are not banned
Surfing member doesnt see their own urls

A good way to overcome this is to create 2-3 members and add a bunch of urls onto their account.

Adam

Whats this mean? Mine isnt a new exchange, and I dont have the url timer on.
Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,

Have you checked your members have allocated enough credits across their URLs? This is another common reason, if hit allocation is enabled but the members are unaware that they need to allocate them then no URLs will qualify.

Also make sure that accounts aren't suspended and members have enough credits.

Kind Regards,
Martyn

As a new member, I just ran across this post, and I'm wondering about the hit allocation.

On my trial site I have the hit allocation turned on, but where does a member see this feature?

Hi Sun,

When they do to add/edit a url they can assign how many hits they want that url to have from their own peronsal "pool" of hits they have collected from surfing.

I had that problem. I did have the timer set to yes. Now, I changed it to no.

After undo the members pause for their sites. I surfed some and got different websites. Took a look and all the websites stayed unpaused.

Thanks!!! biggrin.gif

Hit allocation *options

Enable Auto Assign %

In theory it was a good idea but here is another math example:
Member 1 has 10 sites in rotation and he has a 2:1 ratio

He surfs 10 sites so in theory he earns 5 credits
realistically he never earned for the first page so he only earned
4.5 hits... Ok that was easy, now use this feature...

He allows 25% to go straight in to his credit pool and 75% get added
to his active sites in rotation...So

25% of 4.5 credits = 1.125
75% of 4.5 = 3.375 divided by his 10 sites means
He surfs 10 sites and gets 0.3375 credits added to his one site he checked
(here comes a support ticket from him)

Easier to keep this off

Daily Click Configuration

If you have this on ensure your sites in rotation have not hit their max hits per day
