Hello all,

Team surf is ready for launch. On February 1st, the script will be available at www.raying.ca. Here's what we've got to say about it.

Team Surfing is popular on many Traffic Exchanges. Now you can have your very own Team Surfing Competitions on your Ventrino TE!

As a member, you have the option to create yourself a team, or join an existing team. Take a look at Team stats, and find the one that's right for you!

As an admin, you have the opportunity to set how teams are created (pro level required or no), which stats are visible (full team stats, or only full stats for the captain of a team).

You can also decide what sort of rewards are available to your members, if it would be a set amount of credits, a % of the teams total surf, divided evenly among all members, or a ratio boost!

Hi Ray,

I have purchased your script and it looks good so far. Just had two quick questions. One is, is there a way in which teams would climb in position via credits versus pages surfed. What I mean is that a free member may have a surf ratio of 3:1 but an upgraded member may be a surf ratio of 1:1. Which means the free member has to surf 3 pages versus 1 page of a pro member to equal a page view/credit.

The whole point is that then more members should want to upgrade then to help the team as I Plan on not just offering credits but will do cash as well and just do it manually until script updated to do it on own.

My other question is do not really understand what difference is between percentage of team surfs vs ratio boost.

Finally noticed the mod was ioncubed, before manually breaking the code down is there a way to go and make some design changes like different color texts, some sort of background etc with out having to take apart the ioncube.

Also does anyone else have it set up yet and in motion so I could check it out prior to my relaunch. Thanks,

Sorry I didn't get to this earlier, but I'm here now....

The first question, the stats are built based on the sites surfed, not credits earned, so if a free member at 3:1 surfs 3 sites, his team is credited with 3 hits, and if a pro memer at 1:1 surfs 3 sites, his team is also credited with 3 hits...

Ratio Boost / % Team surf.

Ratio boost is a boost to the amount of credits earned by that member/team while surfing. If you offer a ratio boost of 100%, when free members of the team at 3:1 surfs 3 sites, they earn 2 credits instead of 1 (the team still earns 3 hits for the competition) and pro members at 1:1 who surf 3 sites will earn 6 credits.

% Team Surf is a reward based on the number of surfs made by the entire team. If the team surfs 5000 sites, and you rewards 50% of team surfs, team members will earn a share of 2500 credits (if 10 members on the team, each win 250 credits)

Templating of the table is based on your css settings for your ventrino template, all tables being the same color, bg, etc. We will be adding class names for Team Surf tables for additional customization soon.

Finally, you may *not* be "manually breaking the code down" This is my proprietary code and is not shared for many reasons, doing so will result in legal action being taken, sorry, this is not negotiable.

You'll have to be a little more specific, the code is undergoing a feature improvement this summer, with free upgrades to anyone who's already purchased the script.

I have been trying for ages to get in contact with you on a couple off questions about the team surfing mod
and have read this thread and in it you say

Is there a way to set the % they earn in the back office or is the % set?

If there is a way of setting the % please do tell me how


And I take it that the winnings are divided up between that team so for example if there were 3 members in the
team the credits won would be dived between that team
