In version 3 you need to setup a regular schedule to take advantage of some of the extra features. Ideally this should run every 10 minutes. At the end of the installation you will be given a link similar to http://yoursite.com/backend/scheduled.php which is the file that needs to be called. SOLUTION Check with your ISP Most hosting companies will allow you to setup a cron job, checkout Dougs excellent post with more information on setting up a cron job here:- http://forum.ventrino.com/index.php?...ost&p=20513 Do it yourself If your ISP refuses any cron or schedule (and this is common with bulk hosting suppliers) your only option is to place the schedule on your own PC to run. Erm ... I have hosting with yourselves ... do I need to concern myself with this? I would have thought that, with respect to my TE, you are effectively my ISP, right?
Is there any action required on my part because ... At the end of the installation you will be given a link similar to http://yoursite.com/backend/scheduled.php which is the file that needs to be called. ... I don't require any such reference to this or any file. I'm a bit confused about this (not knowing about cron jobs) - are you saying we need to 'run' the URL (http://yoursite.com/backend/schedule.php) in the browser every 10 minutes? How on earth do we achieve that? -------------------- Simon
