Great New Free Tool For Te's Options

Hi TE owners,
I have come accross this new tool to use on our TE's. It can even allow you more advertising income.
It is a banner rotator that works similar to a website rotator. Once you sign up for free, you can load in your banner image and website urls, then you use the rotator's code on your TE page and everytime your webite is visited the next banner in rotation appears.

Just think of the possible uses here, you don't have to go to all of the differant places to change your banner info.

Please check it out for yourself, you have nothing to lose, but a little time.

But why do that when you can just make your own rotator on your own site and have the hits come to YOUR site instead of bannerkeyring. It is very simple to set up and start up.

The bigger question is why put your affliate id on this board when every exchange owner has already seen the bannerkeyring program approving ads on our exchanges!?!?!

Well, i do not know is it only me or not......i have seen so so many banners which is NOT advertising bannerkeyring ...but when i clicked on it it was all directed to bannerkeyring....

Possible reason:
- Member might have cancel their account at bannerkeyring but their banners are still running somewhere somehow = free advertising for bannerkeyring
- They charge fees for using their service and when member stop paying all their banner rotating will all be faulty and directed to bannerkeyring
- They might be leeching some ad out from member to advertise themself
- Member did not setup their link correctly and hence was directed to bannerkeyring by default
- Member might have setup a campaign and delete it after that but their banner campaign is still running somewhere hence directed to bannerkeyring by default

Above is the possible reason ....this does NOT mean they are really doing that ....

From my point of view, its way better to use your own banner rotator then to use other service unless you dont have a domain of your own. So when anything happen, you wont be wasting your banner impression which you bought or earn advertising for others.

Well, actually, the banners redirecting back to Banner Keyring is a known issue that they have known about for months. When they first started I jumped on that Bandwagon and paid to upgrade because I wanted to use their service in my opp. bar using banners I had elsewhere, not in my TE db.

Anyway, I noticed that it redirected back to them and was working with their support team. Then I, of course, cancelled my paid membership until they "fixed" the problem. They told me it didn't happen to very many of their members (so I am assuming they could care less about fixing it).

That was months ago, and I have contacted them back since then because I noticed the problem is still a problem, not just with me either. But they quit replying to my Support Tickets.

So there ya' go! If you do a search on Google, you will probably find some forums "discussing" this same topic.
Intellibanners does the same thing but they limit the size of ads that you can use, whereas the BannerKeyring lets you make custom rotations.

Great concept if it worked of course!

Hi there,

I just had to put my two cents in... I will NOT allow ANY banner rotators on my sites. I noticed that Bannerkeyring slow the timer down when they try to load on the surf bars. I think that's useless considering MOST people who are surfing think it's the site and they report the site.
I don't even like Website rotators on my sites.
